How to enable Google job listing support?

WP Job Openings automatically handles JobPosting Schema without any additional configurations. If you have successfully added all the content for a job (Title, Content, Job Specifications), then that job will be shown in the Google Jobs.

After adding all the content, you can use the Google Rich Results Test tool for testing for any issue with Google Jobs. If the tool displays Page is eligible for rich results, then the jobs will be listed in Google.

You can also find a preview of your job listing by clicking the PREVIEW RESULTS button. Sometimes the test can generate warnings and errors. The errors need to be fixed, and warnings can be ignored. Warnings won't affect the Display of Job results, but errors do.

Modify or Remove the Structured Data

By default, WP Job Openings adds JobPosting structured data to all the active jobs. WP Job Openings uses the Google recommended JSON-LD format for the structured data. You can use the below code snippets to modify or remove the structured data.

External Resources

Currently, advanced configurations are not available in WP Job Openings. So, if you need to map extra fields, you may need additional plugins. One such example is Schema & Structured Data for WP plugin with JobPosting Schema Compatibility extension (paid). This plugin does support WP Job Openings. Please note that the mentioned plugin is a third-party plugin, and we don't offer any support for that plugin-related issues.
